Industrial Tour to Coal-Fired Power Plant by Session 2015
Students visited the Sahiwal Coal Fired Power Plant practically see the advanced technologies installed by Chinese experts. Students were given a briefing about the working of the electrostatic precipitators as cyclone separators, backhouse filters, and wet scrubbers installed at the plant to reduce impacts on air quality. Students were also briefed about the practical application of environmental management plans, health and safety measures, and water treatment plants. It was really a knowledgeable tour for the students.
