Student Social Responsibility – Smog Awareness Campaign
Students of the Environmental Engineering & Science program, Session 2022, are gearing up for a dedicated Smog Awareness Campaign organized by IEER and CAF, beginning on 27th November 2025. We are launching this campaign from our UET School.
As part of this initiative, the team will visit various schools in Lahore to conduct awareness sessions, explaining the causes of smog, its health effects, and the everyday practices that can help protect young communities.
Building on the legacy of previous SSR initiatives, this campaign aims to highlight the health impacts of smog, promote preventive measures, and encourage students to become active contributors to cleaner, safer air.
Together, we work toward cleaner air, informed choices, and a healthier future.
