Field Visit to HARRO RIVER, MURREE Water Treatment Plant by Session 2017
Students visited the water treatment plant and the site engineers gave briefing about each component of it i.e., intake structure, screenings, plain sedimentation, coagulation and flocculation units, rapid sedimentation system, sand filtration and clear well. Students were also introduced with the SACADA system installed on the treatment plant which controls every operation automatically and warns if any issue arises. Students also visited the pumping galleries installed below the treatment plant to transfer water from one component to another.
