Field Visit to WASA Tube Wells and Pumping Stations in Lahore by Session 2015
The purpose of this tour was to show them the actual working of the tube wells and sewage pumping station (disposal station). During this, the WASA deputy director also introduced students to the organizational setup of the WASA and its working style. They introduced them with a billing system and tariff collection of WASA from households. During the site visit, they showed them the working of the tube wells along with the disinfection system installed inside the pump house. After that they showed them the sewage pumping station and explained working of different components and especially pumps.
