Field Visit/Tour of Khanpur Dam by Session 2018
Students study about Dams and Barrages and their importance in water supply systems to both communities for drinking purposes and to agricultural lands for the production of food and raw materials for industries. In this visit students visited the Khanpur dam for the purpose of gathering important information from the site engineers and supervisors. In this way, they can compare it with their theoretical background. A maximum of the Islamabad area is supplied with water from this dam.
