“Say No to Plastic” Awareness and Tote Bag Distribution Drive
IEER BSc Environmental Engineering students, Session 2022, organized a “Say No to Plastic” Awareness and Tote Bag Distribution Drive as part of the Student Social Responsibility/Community Service (SSR/CS) initiative to promote sustainable alternatives and encourage eco-conscious practices within the community.
With a shared commitment to environmental sustainability, 200 reusable cloth bags were distributed free of cost across bazaars, sabzi mandis, universities, and public spaces to raise awareness about reducing plastic use and adopting environmentally responsible habits.
This initiative reflects a collective dedication to creating a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future. Through such community-driven efforts, the aim is to inspire positive environmental change and promote the importance of sustainable living within society.
Sincere gratitude is extended to the respected Director and teachers for their continuous guidance, encouragement, and support in making this initiative successful. Their leadership and motivation continue to inspire meaningful contributions toward environmental stewardship and social responsibility.
Heartfelt appreciation to everyone who played a role in this campaign. Together, small yet impactful steps continue toward a plastic-free future. ♻️🌍
