IEER proudly congratulates Muhammad Arham Irfan on his outstanding achievement.
His success at provincial and national levels highlights the talent and commitment of our students to environmental leadership and policy innovation .Muhammad Arham Irfan (Environmental Engineering, Session 2023) recently showcased his exceptional dedication to climate advocacy by becoming the Runner Up at the National level competition, competing against more than 2000 participants. This came after he was crowned the Provincial Champion in the initial round. Representing the Institute of Environmental Engineering and Research IEER at the contest, hosted by Youth 4 climate change Y4CC in collaboration with Ministry of Climate, UNICEF, and the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, he articulated Pakistan’s climate stance on a national stage. His notable contributions in formulating the innovative “Jadeed Zraat” in which he proposed an agricultural policy to merge traditional knowledge of agriculture with modern techniques to construct an environment friendly system with creating more yield, and drafting a comprehensive Green Education Policy where he suggested to integrate green/environmental education as compulsory subject for national curricula.
