UET Lahore and Rural Community Development Society Signs MoU for Collaborative Initiatives

The Institute of Environmental Engineering and Research (IEER) at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Rural Community Development Society (RCDS) to promote mutual cooperation in various fields of shared interest.
The primary objective of the agreement is to enhance collaboration through student internships, climate change awareness initiatives, joint seminars, conferences, workshops, social media campaigns, and student-led social responsibility projects.
The MoU also includes provisions for offering scholarships to deserving students of the institute and supporting research projects at the BS, MPhil, and PhD levels. Focus areas include Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, and the publication of related research aligned with the mission of RCDS.
The agreement was formally signed by Vice Chancellor UET Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir and RCDS Managing Director Mr. Qaiser Iqbal.
